|entt| is a cloud service that provides information of the location and status of containers. |en| applications and third-parties can integrate |entt| through the |encd| service.

The information is provided by many different sources. |entt| normalizes the information, so clients don't have to worry about the source. The goal is to provide a consistent interface to the data to simplify the integration by client applications.

The next sections of this documentation will provide an overview of the system and its architecture, as well as guidance integrating the service with your application. The |entt| |architecture| topic describe the basic architecture of the system and all the components involved. The |integration| describes how client applications |entt|. Finally, extensive and detailed information about the |providers| is documented to help understand how they work, the workflows they use, and how the data is normalized.
